UConn Lands Early Commitment in 2024 Class

Four-star Wing Isaiah Abraham Pledges to Huskies

Team's 2022 Recruiting Class Now Complete

The University of Connecticut men's basketball program received a boost on Friday afternoon when four-star wing Isaiah Abraham announced his commitment to the Huskies. Abraham, a native of Brooklyn, New York, is considered one of the top prospects in the 2024 class.

With Abraham's commitment, UConn has secured the building block for its 2024 class. The Huskies have also received signed National Letters of Intent from five other top-level recruits: Jayden Pierre, Donovan Clingan, Solomon Ball, Stephon Castle, and Kyle Cuffe Jr. This group has earned a consensus ranking as the No. 10 recruiting class in the nation.

The UConn men's basketball team's 2022 recruiting class is now complete unless a surprise late recruit comes in over the next month. The staff is busily working on an incoming class for the 2023 recruiting cycle, which is expected to be another strong one.

Abraham is a 6-foot-7, 190-pound wing who is known for his athleticism, versatility, and high-level skillset. He is considered one of the best shooters in the 2024 class and is also a strong rebounder and defender.

Abraham's commitment is a major coup for UConn head coach Dan Hurley. Hurley is building a strong foundation for the Huskies, who are coming off their second Big East Tournament title in the last three years. With a talented roster and a strong recruiting class, UConn is poised to make another run at the NCAA Tournament in 2023.
